LONGITUDINAL PROFILES OF SOME RIVERS

The longitudinal profiles of some selected rivers of Kerala (only main streams) are given on the Plates. This has been done using the topographical maps (1 : 50 000 and 1 : 2 50 000 scale). The characteristics of the peculiar physiography are reflected on the profiles.
